Your piece on Folk Revival got me thinking a lot this morning. Frankly, I hang out with many folks at least twenty years younger than me, probably more in number than my peers. There’s a disconnect with my younger friends - I don’t really know their playlists (Prince? Smashing Pumpkins? Californication?). Not so with my peers, like you. Your referenced artists and songs all come back to me in stereo - as I read your words, I sang along.

We were fortunate, Ken. So much great music to usher us into adulthood…and now to remind us of those years.
